Design in Strange Times - Creating new Possibilities

a fun corner in my colorful home office

Well, it has been about a month since the stay-at-home order in Washington state commenced. I have not been going out to any design appointments and it is a little sad because I really enjoy the interactions with my clients in those design sessions.

Above is an image of a corner in my home office. It's a cheery little space that is fun to work in. Right now, I am sharing the space with my husband who has been working exclusively from home for the past five weeks.

What I want of this strange time is to adapt and adjust. I want to make the most of what is currently available to me instead of focusing on what I can't do!

In light of this desire to be agile, I am trying something completely new! I am going to BETA test mini-Design Direction appointments on a virtual format! Since you are part of my newsletter group I am offering, to the first 15 people to email me, a 35 minute appointment FREE.

To get your FREE 35 minute mini-Design Direction session ONLINE, here is what I need you to do:

  • email me at with "FREE 35 minute mini-Design Direction" in the subject line

  • include in the body of the email your name, your cell number, the room or area we will look at together online

  • indicate your preferred way for me to contact you - GoogleDuo, Facetime, or Zoom

  • include or attach photos of the space we will look at together

  • once I have all the information above, I will give you options for the available appointment times for the month of May 2020

  • on our virtual appointment you can ask me any design questions that we can cover in 35 minutes

  • the deadline to contact me for the FREE session is by 5 pm Friday, May 1, 2020

I am excited to meet with you, see your spaces, and share with you some design tips. I look forward to our adventures together as your tackle your design dilemmas and I learn some new technology skills!
